Electronic Spectacle

Good morning to all of you. Today I want to share my group project on developing an electronic spectacle. Below is the specification that we want to add to our electronic spectacle.

P.S : This is only my techcomm project and we have to submit the technical report based on the specification that we created.

1. Carl Zeiss Tessar 2.8/5.6 lens
- 2.8/5.6 mm lens with auto focus
- 10 mega pixel with CMOS sensor
- 20x digital zoom
- focusing range : 10cm (macro) to infinite
- motifs : landscape, portrait, night, sport, macro
2. Integrated Motorola 68000 chip
- tested using Motorola 68000 microprocessor devices
- coding constructed using Xilinx ISE v9.0.0
3. Bluetooth version 1.1 chip
- range frequency : 2402 MHz ~ 2480 MHz
- data rate : 723 Kbps
- transmission range : up to 10 meters
- power consumption : 46.5mA
4. Supported USB 2.0 and above to charge the battery and transfer pictures

Requirement PC to transfer pictures
1. Windows 98SE/ME/XP/2000/Vista
2. DirectX 9.0c
3. Pentium III or Athlon at 1GHz
4. Build-in Bluetooth connection or devices to receive Bluetooth connection

Supported pictures
1. Any pictures with .jpg, .png, .gif can be create
2. High resolution pictures capability
3. Image sizes supported : 1028x768, 600x800, 100x100 (for avatar), 600x300 (for banner)

Technical issues
1. Within research, many technical issues have been found and not all resolved.
2. The bugs found was fixed
- the chip cannot translate the coding instruction given
- Bluetooth connection cannot be created
- Bluetooth chip cannot detect the others Bluetooth-devices connection
- lens was not detected by the Motorola 68000 chip
- lens cannot focus the pictures when zooming in and out
3. The users can continue provided us with technical issues related with the spectacle.
